Continuity mistake: When Elphaba is getting off the boat and walking towards Shiz, we see everyone in front of her part, and she has a clear path directly to the back of Glinda. In the next shot, which is in front of Glinda, people are standing right behind her and part later.

Wicked (2024)
Directed by: Jon M. Chu
Starring: Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Ariana Grande

Continuity mistake: During the "One Short Day" sequence, the Wizomania choir arrives featuring Kristin Chenoweth (on the left) singing back to back with Idina Menzel. When Kristin hits the high key, Idina suddenly disappears between instant cuts.
Trivia: A fan created a poster of this film emulating the design of the musical's iconic poster. Upon seeing this image, Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, bizarrely called it the most offensive thing she had ever seen, and that's taking into account that she revealed that trolls on the internet asked her if a certain part of her anatomy was painted green for the film.
Trivia: Before release, the film became symbolic of a strange issue for cinema-goers, with many cinemas stating that singing along with the film wasn't allowed as it's disruptive to other people who came to watch the movie. "Wicked" co-star Cynthia Erivo and action-movie star Dwayne Johnson stated that they support singing along with movies, drawing extremely mixed responses, with some praising them, but many more harshly criticizing them for supporting behaviour that could be seen as extremely rude.
Wizard: I am Oz. The Great... and Terrible.
Elphaba: You have no real power!
Wizard: That's why I need you.
