Trivia: Alice Oseman, the writer of the original graphic novel and the screenplay of "Heartstopper", makes a cameo appearance. She is on a train, sitting next to Charlie and Nick. (00:22:21)
Trivia: At the end, when Nick comes out to his mother (played by Olivia Colman), he says: "It's called bisexuality. If you've heard of that", and she replies: "I have heard of that. I wasn't born in the 18th century." In the original comic book, this line is slightly different ("I wasn't born in 1920"), but it was adjusted in the script for Colman, as a nod to her Oscar-winning role in The Favourite, which was set in early 18th century.
