Continuity mistake: Maggie was holding two bottles (clear containing a green liquid) in her right hand and set them on the table together with one at an angle behind the other. She moved her hand away and when the camera shifted to a wide view, the bottles were side-by-side (horizontal to the screen) with more space between them. Also, both bottles were almost full, but had less in them when Maggie handed one to Grace at the airport. (Maggie may have had a sip out of hers, but not Grace's; both looked unopened). The High Note (2020)
Directed by: Nisha Ganatra
Starring: Dakota Johnson, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Tracee Ellis Ross
Continuity mistake: Grace took one bite out of her hamburger and gave it to Maggie, partially exposed above the wrapper. Maggie held the hamburger against two cell phones in her left hand. When the camera shifted, different amounts of the hamburger or bun could be seen or the wrapper was crinkled differently and covered the hamburger. At one point, Maggie lowered her left hand out of view but when the camera shifted she was still holding her left hand up with the hamburger against the cell phones. (00:04:35)
Continuity mistake: When Maggie runs through the Hollywood hills and stops to snap pictures of the Hollywood sign, the sky shows the sun just went down behind the horizon. But when she looks at the results of her pictures on her phone, the sign has direct mid-day sunlight on the letters of the sign.
