Audio problem: The long shot of Marilyn and Eddie in the grandstand shows Eddie mouthing his lines about tomatoes, then in the next close up shot of them Eddie is actually saying the lines.
Munster, Go Home! (1966)
Directed by: Earl Bellamy
Starring: Fred Gwynne, Al Lewis, Butch Patrick, Yvonne De Carlo
Audio problem: Herman drives the Dragula off the property of Munster Hall onto a dirt road and accelerates, but the tires make the sound of screeching tires on asphalt.
Continuity mistake: The huge gash in the left rear tire of the Dragula Herman repairs with his scarf and piece of tape disappears the rest of the race.
Trivia: Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster) and Al Lewis (Grandpa/Count Dracula) worked together previously on "Car 54, Where Are You?" This is referenced playfully after Herman and Grandpa discover the secret of Munster Hall.
Trivia: When Herman and Grandpa are locked in the counterfeiting room, Herman says "Call Batman! Car 54, where are you?" Car 54 was a 1961 police sitcom that they both starred in before going to The Munsters in 1964.
Trivia: When Herman and Grandpa are locked in the counterfeiting room, Herman says "Call Batman." He was obviously referring to the Detective Comics series, where Batman first appeared in issue 27, in May, 1939. The Batman series starring Adam West debuted January 12, 1966.
Suggested correction: This movie was released in June 1966 so depending how long before that the filming took place, it may have been from the new Batman show (at that time).
That would be a possibility, as The Munsters debuted on television Sept. 24, 1964. Munsters Go Home appeared June 6, 1966. The Batman series starring Adam West debuted on television January 12, 1966. So given the dates, you would be correct, and given off-screen possibilities, I stand corrected, as I didn't have the correct dates at the time.
Eddie Munster: I hope those guys didn't bring any more to-mah-tos.
Millie: What's the matter with you two blokes? I've seen zombies at the flickers looking 'appier than you two.
Herman: "Car 54, Where Are You?" - when finally discovering the secret of Munster Hall.
