Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Plot hole: When April O'Neil calls Vernon Fenwick (drives the channel 6 van), he answers his phone and immediately says "O'Neil". When the scene cuts back to O'Neil, we see she called from a payphone. Fenwick would have no way to know it was her calling.

Revealing mistake: When April O'Neil first tries to take pictures of the foot clan activity at the docks, almost every time they show her phone, the screen is black. In fact, when she finally tries to get the shot of the Vigilante we see a clear as day reflection of herself on the screen.

Factual error: In 1999 when April is filming inside the research facility, you can see her video camera displaying Bluetooth, which wasn't available in cameras until 2002.

Trivia: During the movie, The Shredder says "Tonight I dine on Turtle Soup", a reference to the TMNT Arcade game and the original 1980s cartoon series.

Trivia: When Splinter reveals that he knows April and she speaks his name, the camera pans over Mikey as he asks if she is a Jedi and he can be seen holding a can of Orange Crush. As promotion for the movie, Mikey was featured on the boxes of Orange Crush soda once the movie came out. Similarly with Donnie on Grape Crush and Raph on Strawberry Crush.

Trivia: Michelangelo mentions him and Raphael producing a "Hip Hop Christmas" album. An actual TMNT Hip Hop Christmas album was released in 1994 as part of a 25-min special titled "We Wish You a Turtle Christmas."

Michelangelo: What's up, brah? Oh, you think you can handle this, Huh? I'm a snapping turtle fool!

Donatello: Allow me to be the badass for once.

April: You're ninja...mutant...turtle...teenagers?
Donatello: When you put it like that it sounds ridiculous.

Question: How does Splinter know who shredder is? It's established that his first memories are from the lab so that's how he knows Eric Sacks is a bad guy and April saved them, but how does Splinter know Sacks is working for the foot and is connected to shredder? He even knows shredder trained Sacks as a boy, but this was in Japan, 20 to 30 years before Splinter was around.

Chosen answer: Sacks told April that he was raised in Japan by a local sensei, and that he shared the lessons he learnt with her father. Splinter would have overheard Sacks mention his master at the lab, as well as when O'Neil discovered what he was up to with Project Renaissance and his connection to Shredder and the Foot Clan.
