Batman defeats Superman with the help of a high tech suit and Green Arrow using an arrow with synthetic kryptonite. Alfred dies of a stroke after destroying Wayne Manor, the Batcave and everything else that could expose Batman's secrets and methods. At Bruce Wayne's grave, Clark Kent/Superman hears Bruce's heartbeat and realizes that he faked his death. Batman decides to share his methods and secrets with the reformed Mutant gang and the Sons of Batman group; his "army" will operate in secret in order to continue to help Gotham City.

Answer: Typically, the Joker is immune to the toxin. It depends on the writer, and in this story, that would seem to be the case.
