Trivia: Michael Maltese was the story writer for this cartoon, but during production he left Warner Brothers to join Hanna-Barbera. As a result, the producers decided to omit Maltese's name from the opening credits.

Trivia: When Wile E. Is talking to himself about how he's going to kill Bugs, Bugs joins in the conversation and one of the suggestions Wile E. Says is a Burmese Tiger Trap, which is dismissed by Bugs as having "too much detail." This is a nod to the 1954 Road Runner short, "Stop! Look! And Hasten."

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the cartoon, you can see there is a post box outside Bugs' home. But when he jumps into the hole when Wile E. Coyote is pursuing him towards the end, the post box has gone.
