Factual error: When Hugh Jackman leaves the apartment where he is holding Alex and walks to a store to buy a bottle of liquor the liquor store has signs for beer in the window. The entire movie takes place in Pennsylvania, which only has state owned liquor stores that do not advertise or sell beer.
Suggested correction: I only saw wine and spirits advertised. He also drives his pick up to the store.
Factual error: The dude handcuffed to the radiator has a single piece of duct tape across his mouth maybe 8 inches in length. The sweat and oils, and somebody just moving their mouth will break the tape free from their mouth. A person can scream all they want. To properly do it properly, a ball gag like the one used in Pulp Fiction needs to be used. A piece of tape does nothing, I've taped my own mouth to try it. (00:46:30 - 00:47:30)
Detective Loki: Alex Jones, unfortunately has the I.Q. of a 10 year-old. There's no way someone with the I.Q. of a 10 year-old could abduct 2 girls in broad daylight and then... somehow dissppear.
Keller Dover: Well, maybe he wasn't on his own. How could he drive an RV if he has an I.Q. of a 10 year-old?
Trivia: When Keller looks at the newspaper detailing Bob Taylor's suicide whilst at Holly's house, the reporter who wrote the article is called Aaron Guzikowski. Aaron Guzikowski is also the name of the movie's screenwriter. (01:51:15)
