Factual error: At the conclusion of the film it is stated on screen: "Ayrton Senna died aged 34. In the aftermath of his death, the FIA appointed Ayrton's friend Prof. Sid Watkins to improve safety in Formula One. There has not been a fatality in Formula One since." While it is true that no driver has been killed at a Formula One Grand Prix since Senna, there were crashes at the Italian Grand Prix in 2000 and the Australian Grand Prix in 2001 which resulted in the deaths of marshals. Senna (2010)
1 factual error
Directed by: Asif Kapadia
Starring: Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Frank Williams, Ron Dennis
Genres: Biography, Documentary, Sport
Revealing mistake: In the scene at the 1988 Monaco Grand Prix, the shot on board Senna's car is taken from qualifying, not the race. This can be shown in the shot after Senna hits the wall, as no on board camera is visible.
Viviane Senna: On that morning when he woke up, he asked God to talk to him. He opened the Bible and read a passage which said: God would give him the greatest of all gifts. Which was God himself.
