Stupidity: When one of Vincent Price's protege's leaves a wax work-in-progress, he doesn't cover it with a lightly damp cloth, which is very important: wax uncovered will go hard and useless.
House of Wax (1953)
1 stupidity
Directed by: Andre De Toth
Starring: Vincent Price, Carolyn Jones, Frank Lovejoy, Phyllis Kirk
Genres: Horror
Revealing mistake: In the beginning where Vincent Price is brawling with his business partner, his partner throws a pipe or bar at him. Price ducks and the bar hits something that the camera was connected to, because the scene jerks.
Prof. Henry Jarrod: Once in his lifetime, every artist feels the hand of God, and creates something that comes alive.
Trivia: Even though the film was made in 3-D, director Andre de Toth could not see the effect as he was blind in one eye.
