Continuity mistake: When the van is being lifted onto the roof we see the driver jump out the door leaving it open. When the camera cuts to under the van, the door is now closed. (00:17:00)
Continuity mistake: When Mike says they have to keep Stuart locked up all weekend, Sarah has a mug in her hand that she puts down. When the camera cuts she's holding it again. (00:12:20)
Revealing mistake: The film is set in Arizona. However if you look at the licence Dinkum gives Ray it states Delaware. (00:08:20)
Revealing mistake: When Ray asks Dinkum for a licence, he turns his head and a white tent is visible in his glasses that is not present in the area. (00:08:05)
Continuity mistake: Jerry is holding his nose when Ray turns up at the start. When the camera cuts his hand is nowhere near his nose. (00:07:20)
Continuity mistake: When in the diner the girl has got the coffee pot in her left hand. When the camera changes it's in her right hand. (00:05:40)
Continuity mistake: At the start the cop takes a bite from his doughnut. The camera changes and half the doughnut has gone. (00:01:00)
Revealing mistake: When Owens is shooting Vicky from the school bus, the feed into Vicky is full of blanks. (01:10:00)
Continuity mistake: Dinkem starts to cut the pole down and does so with the blade cutting horizontal. Camera changes and now he is cutting at an angle. (01:02:15)
Revealing mistake: When we see Jerry's desk you can see the phone is not plugged in. (00:52:50)
Revealing mistake: When the SWAT SUV is flipped, it lands on its wheels and is hit by the second SUV. However, all the SWAT team are no longer in the SUV. (00:51:40)
Revealing mistake: When Cortez changes gear, you can see the handbrake is applied. (00:50:30)
Audio problem: When Sarah is firing her pistol in the desert we see the slide lock back. However the hammer still manages to hit the firing pin, making a click noise - that would be impossible. (00:41:20)
Revealing mistake: Numerous times throughout the movie, we see a dust cloud kicked up by the ZR1, as to be expected. However in some shots from in front of the ZR1 we see a dust cloud kicked up that the ZR1 drives through. This can not be the FBI helicopter as that is a fair distance behind the ZR1. Clearly from the camera van. (00:36:15)
Continuity mistake: At the first roadblock when the ZR1 calls for the SUV's, a second line of police cars appear and disappear throughout the scene. (00:34:00)
Continuity mistake: Ray tells one cop to clean the chunk of beef off his hat. The cop then removes his hat to discover a chunk of beef that was not visible in previous shots. (00:07:15)
Other mistake: At the very start we see a car turn off its lights and fly past the patrol car at 197mph. However as the car goes by, the brake lights are on. (00:01:25)
Factual error: After the SWAT vehicles are disposed of, there's a shot of the front of the car, and there are scrape marks. As cool as it looked, being that is a Corvette, there is no way that it could happen. This is due to the car body being made of basically fiberglass, and couldn't support the weight of another vehicle. Also, the body would be trashed after the impact, therefore the engine destroyed, and not drivable. (00:51:40)
Suggested correction: Would be the case with a regular C6 or Z06, the ZR1 is carbon fibre instead of fiberglass.
Revealing mistake: When the car reverses to act as a ramp to get rid of the SWAT vehicles, the one that flips over shows the slide plate used to make the stunt possible. (00:51:30)
Continuity mistake: In the field chase scene, the Camaro's driver side mirror is ripped off when the Corvette rams it sideways. It remains off for several shots, then it returns by scene end and stays on through the movie's end. (01:20:10)
