Character mistake: When Frank is showing Roger around the RV, he refers to the RV's stereo system as having "four channels." A true stereo system only has two channels, while a four-channel system would be considered quadraphonic.

Revealing mistake: During the chase sequence towards the end of the film, Roger shoots five bullets into the windscreen of the blue car. If you look carefully, you can see there is no driver in the front seat.
Gas Station Attendant: What the hell happened to your van here? Your back window is all busted up.
Frank Stewart: I don't drive too well when I'm asleep.
Trivia: The scene in which the blue car does several flips on the grass would later be used in the first season of the TV show "The Fall Guy" starring Lee Majors.
