Steve is unable to top Billy's high score at the arcade in Florida. Referee Walter congratulates Steve on his efforts and tells him that any future high score submissions will be accepted by Twin Galaxies. Billy's high score goes into the Guinness Book of World Records. Before the end of the film, it's shown that Steve, playing at his house, beats Billy's high score. During the end credits, it's mentioned that Walter retires from Twin Galaxies and spends more time with his music and writing a book. Roy Shildt stills wants his high score of Missile Command to be accepted by Twin Galaxies. Robert Mruczek leaves Twin Galaxies and is no longer referee.
