Continuity mistake: When Alice falls through the "ceiling" in the round room there is a hole created by her coming through. The room rotates 180° so the ceiling becomes the floor. Through some miraculous occurrence the hole in the floor is no longer there. (00:13:27 - 00:13:55)

Deliberate mistake: When Alice jumps on the dog and they start running, her dress and her hand-band suddenly changed side. Probably they mirrored the image, and instead of going left as directed, it felt more accurate to go right.
Alice Kingsley: This is impossible.
The Mad Hatter: Only if you believe it is.
Trivia: When Alice walks through the little door and arrives in Underland, pay attention to the tree next to the stairs. It is the same tree as the tree of the dead in Sleepy Hollow, another Tim Burton movie.
Question: Why does Alice dance briefly at the end after returning to the regular world?
Chosen answer: She is proving a point that she is not going to follow the boundaries of English society, the Mad Hatter futer-wagoned, that was where she got the moves. It also showed the crowd that she wasn't wearing stockings.
