Anyone who's familiar with the outcome of the Wickerman will know how this concludes if not; Miranda isn't the human sacrifice, Jeff is as he came willingly to their ceremony. His supposed friend Derek Clayton is really coven leader while Miranda is in actual fact a fully fledged willing member used as to lure schmucks like him in. Jeff loses his heart to her and Derek quite literally when they cut it out of his chest. With his demise covered up by Clayton, Miranda commences looking for their next year's winter solstice sacrifice.
