Continuity mistake: When Maya enters Peter's office for the first time, you can see that he had just written something on his laptop. While they talk, you can see the word-program on the computer screen: it shows one page. Cut to Maya, then back to Peter: it shows two pages. Another cut: one page. This happens two or three times throughout the scene. (00:29:30)
Continuity mistake: When Maya is lying on her bed, writing, while Peter is interviewed on television, in the first shot, she's reached only half the page in her notebook. The camera pans to wards the television, and we hear her continue writing, in a normal pace. In the next shot a few seconds later, she's reached the bottom of the page; there wasn't enough time for her to have filled the page that quickly. The objects lying on the bed, around the book, also differ between shots. (00:19:20)
Continuity mistake: When Father James grabs Maya and holds a knife to her, in the wide shot, his arm is over her throat, and the knife is several inches away from her. In the following head and shoulders close-up, his arm is no longer visible, and the knife is almost touching her skin. (01:24:10)
Continuity mistake: When Maya and Peter are searching John Townsend's home, as Maya finds the books after switching on the light, she's holding the jacket with her right arm in front at first, then it changes so her left arm's in front. (01:05:25)
