Quantum of Solace

Camille kills Medrano. Bond (Daniel Craig) and Camille escape the hotel. Mr. Greene tries to escape but is interrogated by Bond and he gives information about the organization Quantum. Bond drives away and leaves Mr. Greene in the desert with a can of motor oil. Bond goes to Russia and confronts Vesper's (Eva Green) boyfriend Yusef (mentioned in the previous film and this one). He's really an agent of Quantum who seduces intelligence agents then fakes his own kidnapping in order to get secrets and information from agents. M (Judi Dench) and Bond talk and she mentions that Mr. Greene was found dead (shot in the head) in the Bolivian desert. Bond has now moved on and no longer angry about his relationship with Vesper after confronting Yusef. He discards Vesper's necklace and walks away...

Question: How do James Bond and Camille Montes manage to get back from the sinkhole to La Paz? They're in the middle of the desert with no water or access to shelter - you would have thought that the chances of hitching a lift would be slim.

Louisa Radice

Chosen answer: They find a whole dam full of water in the sinkhole, so that isn't a problem. The sinkhole is an old river bed, and there is a village nearby which they walk to in a few hours, then they catch a bus to La Paz from the village.
