Factual error: The kitten in the Viking scene is long-haired. Long haired cats did not appear in Europe until many centuries later.
Factual error: The exterior of the village church looks nothing like an English church. Churches in Eastern Europe, where it was filmed, are very different.
Continuity mistake: When the two men are carrying the Christmas tree on the road, it is a huge tree, but when they carry it through the door into the house, it is significantly smaller.
