Factual error: When Mr Bean arrives in Paris from his Eurostar train, he arrives in Paris Nord train station. In reality, the Eurostar platforms are fenced off to prevent train-hoppers and are against the station wall, rather than the middle.
Factual error: When Bean is in the gas station in the French Riviera, the TV of the gas station is showing the news about him in English and not in French.
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Bean is walking on the roofs of the cars when going to the beach, the cars in the far right lane change location and disappear between shots.

Trivia: Antoine de Caunes, who stars as the newsreader for "Francaise 1" shown on the dressing room television, is the real-life father of Emma de Caunes, the actress who portrays Sabine in the movie.
