12 mistakes

Revealing mistake: When the red Dalek falls down the shaft, there is a very clear shot of its base with three small furniture casters (though it must be a dummy, as there is no hole for the operator's feet to protrude).

Revealing mistake: On the left hand 'Roboman Converter' two of the top row of red lights are not working.

Add time

Revealing mistake: When the Red Dalek and the Dalek Supreme fall down the mine shaft, they have been replaced with obvious models that don't resemble the Dalek's image (i.e. larger necks; more skirt balls; thinner dome lights).

Add time

Revealing mistake: Wires are visible on the Dalek saucer in almost all shots of it flying.

Add time

Revealing mistake: When the van rams through the ranks of blue/silver Daleks in the street, some of those knocked flying are seen to be completely empty casings.

Add time

Revealing mistake: When the workers are running away from the mine before it explodes, one of the female extras (the woman wearing the blue shawl) suddenly slows down to a relaxed stroll - obviously thinking she's safely out of shot.

Add time

Continuity mistake: When Dr Who and Tom are in the warehouse, the Roboman helmet vanishes from the Doctor's hands.

Add time

Other mistake: Observing the Dalek saucer, the Doctor notes that it seems to be landing in the vicinity of Sloane Square. There is then a lengthy shot in which it is shown to be continuing in level flight for what must be several miles over London (with no apparent intention of landing) before we finally get a close-up of it descending.

Add time

Factual error: The Dalek mine is set in Bedfordshire. We see the encampment with high mountains beyond. Bedfordshire is a county of low rolling hills, with virtually no rock.

Add time

Other mistake: At the beginning of the film, when one of the eyewitnesses tries to get into the TARDIS to call the police, when the TARDIS dematerialises, the eyewitness changes position slightly.

Add time

Continuity mistake: In the last scenes, as he is driving away with the three unconscious thieves in the car, Tom looks off to his right and waves to Dr. Who and his entourage. They wave back, looking also to their right, making the points of view incongruous.

Add time

Continuity mistake: When Wyler and Susan are escaping in the van, the windscreen is shattered and Wyler punches a hole for visibility. In all further shots of the van, the windscreen is obviously intact with the shattering merely cosmetic.
