Revealing mistake: As Ricky Bobby drives a test lap, one crew member tells another that Ricky Bobby is going only 26 miles an hour. In three close-ups of the vehicle, the reflection of the bleachers can be seen on the windshield. The reflection does not change. The vehicle is not moving.
Visible crew/equipment: When Reese Bobby is getting thrown out of Ricky's school, if you look in the window to the right of the screen, you can see crew members backing up with the camera.
Ricky Bobby: I've sent in my application to the Real World. So I'm hoping to hear back from that. I'm putting A LOT of my eggs into that basket, the MTV basket. Trivia: Jane Lynch plays Lucy Bobby, the mother of Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell). In real life, Lynch is only seven years older than Ferrell.
