Continuity mistake: In the scene where Spider-Man is being given the key to the city, the view as the camera sweeps the band, it shows a full row of members on the top left, but when you see the band from the park angle (during MJ's conversation), there are less band members.

Continuity mistake: Before Sandman is turned into sand, the craw-like machine lifts up tons of sand but it never gets in his eyes nor sticks to his shirt.

Continuity mistake: In the scene just before Mary Jane throws a hollow brick onto Eddie's head, his back is briefly shown where we can see that he is not wearing any dress under his venom suit. But later at the end when Spider-man tries to save Eddie by pulling him out, his dress comes back on him.

Trivia: A great deal of Flint Marko/Sandman's storyline was edited out of the film by the studio due to the long run-time. One scene early in the film showed that the scientists who accidentally created Sandman were racked with guilt when they discovered they might have activated the machine with a person inside of it. Another scene had Sandman visiting a doctor researching his daughter's rare disease whom he had been corresponding with in prison. Yet another scene showed him following his daughter in a park, and morphing into a giant sandcastle that she plays with. And finally, his daughter was going to appear in the final battle, and would appeal to her father to stop hurting people and living a life of crime to get money, as she accepted that she was going to die no matter what. Her words would be what convinced him to seek forgiveness from Peter for accidentally killing Uncle Ben.

Question: This applies to all 3 films. Wouldn't someone eventually see Spiderman coming out of Peter Parker's apartment and put 2 and 2 together? Doesn't this seem just a bit careless on Peter's part?

Chosen answer: Answered in the comics: Peter's Spider-Sense tells him if someone is looking when he's about to enter/exit the apartment as Spider-Man.
