Factual error: Near the end of the movie, Jamie Lee is speeding down a road in the coroner's van she has stolen and Michael is attacking her from the back of the van. She slams on the brakes, and he flies into the front windshield, which shatters into many pieces. Windshields are made of laminated glass, which contains a sheet of plastic, sandwiched between to sheets of glass. It does not shatter when struck.
Continuity mistake: More than one mask was used in the film. This is most noticeable as the look of the mask changes from time to time.
Tony Allegre: Hasn't anyone told you, second hand smoke kills.
Marion Wittington: Yeah, but they're all dead.
Trivia: Late in the film, before Laurie/Keri goes back inside to battle Michael alone, she tells John and Molly to "drive down the street to the Becker's". This is a reference to "Scream," in which Casey Becker's father told her mother to go "down the street to the Makenzie's", a line included in the original Halloween.
Question: If Myers switched with the paramedic (as shown at the start of the next movie) and the medic couldn't speak because his larynx was crushed, why didn't he take the mask off to show Laurie it wasn't Myers? At the end you can see that he was able to have full use of his arms and hands when he got out of the body bag, then got up after he got hit by the van and when he was pinned he raised his hands to her.
