Other mistake: Covering the victims' bodies with layers of wax would make the figures look unnatural large. And the machine that secured the victims in seated position as it sprays then with layers of hot wax would mean the figures would have to stay in seated positions when completed.

Continuity mistake: When Paige is 'spiked' by Vincent, she falls onto her hands and knees and her hands are in fists. Yet after Vincent starts filming her they have changed.
Nick Jones: Ugh, Dalton, did you crap your pants again?
Dalton Chapman: What? No! I don't know, maybe. I am wearing my work clothes.
Trivia: The entire set of the wax house burnt down during filming and had to be rebuilt all over again. Chad Michael Murray was on set when the fire began and was almost seriously injured.
Question: Who was the guy (the roadkill guy) that drove them to the town? Wouldn't he know what was going on? If he did, what was his connection?
