Visible crew/equipment: Young vampire Danny floats away from the window after being confronted with a crucifix. The effect is quickly ruined when the boom he is sitting on can be seen moving him for 8 seconds. (01:43:40)

Visible crew/equipment: When Mike Ryerson is alone in the basement walking around the crate, you can see the shadow cast by the camera as he walks. The shadow moves along the crate because the camera is following Mike.

Visible crew/equipment: After dinner at Susan's parents' house, Ben and Susan leave in Ben's car, and then we see a brief conversation between Susan's parents discussing Ben. Throughout the conversation you can see a microphone at the bottom of the screen picking up their lines. (00:21:23)

Continuity mistake: When Ryerston is dead already and is talking with Matt, the autopsy scar next to his neck keeps changing sides.

Other mistake: When Larry Crocket runs out of the house in his underwear and gets attacked by Barlow, later when the police find him his clothes are in the car. How is that possible when he ran out of the house with his clothes still inside?

Visible crew/equipment: When Susan and her mum are clearing away the plates from the dinner scene, you can see the boom mic underneath the light above the table (confirmed on VHS and DVD). (00:18:58)

Visible crew/equipment: After speaking to Straker at his antique store we see Constable Gillespie on the phone back at the police station. Just after Gillespie says " the boy is missing" you can see the shadow of some equipment moving on the wall at the upper left part of the screen (probably the boom microphone). (01:14:04)

Revealing mistake: At the end of the movie, when Ben stakes vampire Susan in the heart, she throws her head back in pain and you can see her real teeth behind the fake vampire teeth.

Visible crew/equipment: When Ben is discussing Danny Glick's condition with Dr Norton, Susan walks in and says she and Ben are going out. Ben stands up and puts his jacket on and you can see the shadow of some equipment (probably the boom microphone) moving around on the wall at the upper left part of the screen. (01:15:59)
