Continuity mistake: Curly is about to throw a lump of clay, and a woman is posing in the background. The woman is almost directly to Curly's right, and Curly throws the clay straight ahead. The next shot shows the clay hitting the woman on the side of the face, which is completely impossible.

Revealing mistake: The same clip of Curly getting hit on the top of the head with a lump of clay is shown twice during the clay fight.

Other mistake: When one of the artists throws a lump of clay during the clay fight, another artist ducks and the clay falls downwards, but it still manages to hit Curly on the top of the head.

Audio problem: When the Stooges are in drag and flirting with the police officer, Curly introduces Moe as his mother. However, when Curly says "And this is my mother", we see him finish the line but we don't hear it; we only hear the line finish when the camera closes up on Moe and Curly in the next shot.

Continuity mistake: When the Stooges are attempting to help the painter who is having problems with the blotch of sunlight on his canvas, Larry paints a circle with a dot in the middle, whereas Moe paints an "X." The brushstrokes then disappear and re-appear on the canvas throughout the next few shots.

Continuity mistake: When the lady in the street asks Moe how to spell "chrysanthemum", you can see that Moe's tie is tucked inside his jacket, but in the next shot his tie is hanging loose.

Continuity mistake: After Moe has thrown a tin of black paint over the painting, you can see it leaves a splatter on his smock, but when Moe is with the model in the next shot, the paint splatter is completely different.

Other mistake: After Moe has painted the cop's face with a paint brush, the Stooges walk across a floor that is covered with wet black paint, yet when they are in the room in the next shot, they leave no footprints on the floor.

Continuity mistake: When the Stooges have finished painting the floor of the art studio, they are standing in front of a brown door with several sketches hanging on it. But when the cop opens the door in the next shot, the door is now black and the sketches have disappeared.
