Continuity mistake: Curly is about to throw a lump of clay, and a woman is posing in the background. The woman is almost directly to Curly's right, and Curly throws the clay straight ahead. The next shot shows the clay hitting the woman on the side of the face, which is completely impossible.
Trivia: One of the little girls playing hopscotch is Larry Fine's daughter.
