Factual error: Near the end of the movie, Raul is telling the hunter to not kill the tigers. Throughout the scene, you can hear a bird call. The bird is a grebe. Grebes do not live in the jungle- they are only found near large bodies of water.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the hunters trap Saunga and his mother in a pit, they put a bamboo cover on top. Then, when the cover is lowered to begin the tiger hunt, the mother goes AROUND the side of the cover. How could it have fit in like this, with enough room for a full-grown tiger to walk around it?

Naï-Rea: His Excellency asked the Australian priests to open a school here to teach us languages.
Aidan McRory: Well, I'm very impressed. What else did they teach you?
