Continuity mistake: When we first see Hermione, she puts the candle down on a chest of drawers or something similar. In the next shot it has moved to the edge of the chest of drawers. (00:03:45)
Continuity mistake: After Frank places the kettle on the burner, when he steps in front of the sink in the wideshot, the window is behind the sink, in front of Frank. There are plants on the sill that reach the window handles. However, after Frank sees the mansion light and puts the teapot down, in the close-up of the window the center plant is gone and the left plant is different. (00:01:30)
Continuity mistake: The amount of eyebrow hair, just over Moody's magical eye, differs in various consecutive shots of him throughout the film. It goes from some hair being caught under the casing, to all of it being over the casing, and vice versa; such as when he begins to feel the effects of the Polyjuice Potion diminishing, and he looks in the cabinet. Continuity mistake: In the common room, when Harry meets with Sirius, there are a stack of logs at the left of the fireplace which differ between shots.
Continuity mistake: While Sirius speaks with Harry in the common room, the sweater at the corner of the couch changes position during this scene.
Continuity mistake: In the Great Hall, after Ron receives his "dress" and Harry says, "Well it does match your eyes. Is there a bonnet?" the toast caddy on the table in front of Harry moves farther down the table, between shots. (01:06:10)
Continuity mistake: When Dumbledore reveals the scar Wormtail made on Harry's arm, the blood around the scar differs in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: When Fred or George says "Sounds like the Irish has got their pride on", right before Arthur enter the tent, we see him swinging a pillow to his right ready to hit. When it cuts to Arthur entering, he has his pillow to his left. (00:09:50)
Continuity mistake: When Moody has turned Draco into a ferret, McGonagall shows up asking what he is doing. Behind her Harry is holding onto his bag's strap. His hand's position on the strap changes in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: When Voldemort says to Harry, "I'd introduce you, but rumor has it you're almost as famous as me these days," we see Harry resting his chin on the statue's sickle. When it cuts, he has his chin lifted from it.
Continuity mistake: Just as Harry flies back into the stadium during the first task, Fred and George's case is open in one shot and closed in the next. (01:00:00)
Continuity mistake: When Barty Crouch Jr. lunges at Harry, Dumbledore grabs him and pulls him back. The camera does an instant cut and Dumbledore's grip on Harry has changed totally. (02:11:10)
Continuity mistake: When Mad-Eye tells Dumbledore and Fudge that Harry is outside the room, he opens the door with his wand and then proceeds to put it away. When the door opens from Harry's POV, Mad-Eye has still got his wand out. (01:37:50)
Continuity mistake: When Harry is deciding to ask Cho to the ball, he is in the doorway to the owlery. When he runs after her, he is in the owlery. No time has passed between the two shots. (01:09:40)
Continuity mistake: During the scene in which the Tri Wizard cup is brought into the Great Hall and then Harry's name comes out of the Goblet of Fire, pay attention to Hagrid. We first see him move behind Snape and Moody who are in front of the window and standing directly behind them. Then he is further over to the right of the screen in front of the wall, and then back to his original position.
Continuity mistake: When Voldemort pushes Cedric's face with his foot, his foot's placement on Cedric's face change in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: When Harry falls into the Pensieve and sees Dumbledore, he leans towards him. In the next shot, he is noticeably further away.
Continuity mistake: When Harry returns with Cedric's body he says "He's back. Voldemort is back". When it cuts Dumbledore suddenly has got his hand behind Harry's head. It wasn't there in the previous shot.
Continuity mistake: When Harry wakes up after having his first nightmare the pillow under his head change position in the next shot.
Continuity mistake: When Harry returns from the cemetery, there's a shot of him lying over Cedric's body. When Dumbledore reaches out to put his hands on Harry's face, Harry's left shoulder is higher while he rests his weight on his right arm. The scene cuts to a rear view, and his right shoulder is now higher. When it cuts back to a front view, his left shoulder is once again in the higher position.
Answer: Voldemort's spell undid the Sacrificial Protection that Lily bestowed on Harry, but the Bond of Blood is a separate protection bestowed if the person sacrificing their lives is a relative. THAT spell is still renewed as long as Harry keeps returning to the Dursleys until age seventeen. Voldemort has removed one protection, but a second is still in place.
