Scary Movie 3

Corrected entry: When Cindy is talking to Brenda at the elementary school Brenda's hair is really short, and in some scenes you can see it pulled back, in some you can't, but every other part of the movie she has really long braided hair.

kurt hudson

Correction: It is most likely that the long braided hair is from hair extentions, which are commonly used today.

Corrected entry: In the scene where the kid gets run over, the car is driving on a straight road however when the bus hits him it comes from the side but there is no road there.

Correction: when the van is backing up you can see the corner of an intersection right before it stops.

Corrected entry: Where in the English speaking world is there fully ripened corn in the middle of January? Certainly not near Washington D.C.

Sol Parker

Correction: Just part of the jokey nature of the film.

Corrected entry: When Simon gets his head stuck in the bus, his cap comes off. The camera cuts back to Charlie and when it cuts back to the bus pulling away, you see Simon's head still sticking out the door with the cap still perfectly in place.

Correction: Actually, that's his hood that is still on as the bus drives away. And he did have that on when it snapped shut on him.

Corrected entry: When the aliens are hugging the guys at the end of the movie, you can see the foam shoulder padding underneath their space suits.

Correction: Part of the spoof on Signs is an exaggeration of the bad alien costumes. The costumes are intentionally bad, so seeing foam padding wouldn't be a mistake.

Corrected entry: When we first see Brenda she has short hair, but in the rap battle scene and at home she has long hair.

Correction: Since she was going to a rap battle, she added braided extensions, assuming to make herself hip.

Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie the aliens reveal that they were coming to Earth to help. So why did they create crop circles with an arrow pointing at the farm and the words "Attack here"?

Dandude776 1

Correction: The aliens said they had to stop the girl in the well before the seven days were over, and the well is in a cellar on the farm.

Reservoir Dog

Corrected entry: When it shows the dogs using the bong, after the dog spits out the tube, the bong still bubbles, bongs don't bubble if no one is using them.

Sol Parker

Correction: Someone didn't do their homework on a LEGAL item. It's not a bong, it's actually a hookah smoker, used in many parts of the Arabian World. With my hookah, the charcoal bubbles the water (which is in a small dish on the top of the machine), regardless of whether someone is blowing into it.

Corrected entry: When the president pees out of his finger you can see the device that is making the pee come out on the middle of his finger.

logan crews

Correction: No device can be seen.

Ssiscool

It's small, but just above his finger, you can see something white he is holding.

Corrected entry: When the aliens are describing how they pee, and the shot cuts to the president, when his right hand is at his side, you can see the small black container in his hand which he squeezes on to pee out of a second later. (01:06:05)

Dandude776 1

Correction: That was his finger.

Scary Movie 3 mistake picture

Revealing mistake: A quick mistake happens when Brenda and the girl crawling out of the TV get in a fight. Brenda throws the punch, the other girl falls over, and for a quick second her dress flies up too far and you can see where the makeup (that makes her look dead) on her legs end and you can see her real thigh. Trivia: When Cindy and the rapper guy are fighting the Ring girl, the president walks in and says, "I just want to wish you both good luck. We're all counting on you." and then he walks out. This is a joke from "Airplane" where Leslie Nielsen is the doctor. He says the same line. The reason it is in the movie Scary Movie 3 is because the director of Airplane also directed this.

Question: There is something I have always wondered about spoofs: Do they actually get permission from the makers of the films they spoof?

Answer: Nope. Parodies aren't usually covered by copyright laws as they are generally considered to be as example of fair usage, provided that it can be demonstrated that the copyrighted material was used in a manner that is considered to be a commentary, ridicule or criticism of that material.
