Continuity mistake: When Daniel's painter friend gives him the allowance envelope that his father sends him, Daniel has the envelope and a conductor's wand in his hand. Scene cuts and now he just has the wand. Scene cuts again, and now he has the envelope folded up and the wand. Then final scene cuts and he sits down with neither object in his hand.
Continuity mistake: On Carla's birthday her parents start an argument. When the father sends her sisters away they walk by behind him twice. (00:31:05)

Continuity mistake: When Carla's parents are speaking to the doctor he's wearing his glasses. A shot behind him and he's suddenly not. Then a front shot and he's got them back on.
Continuity mistake: The style of goldfish bowl is different in the scene where Danny and Carla are looking through The New Joy of Sex book, deciding on what positions to try.
