Other mistake: In the scene at the lake, Stennis gets down and throws Moose, who can't swim, into the water. Then he gets back up on the guard tower. Then the "Last Chance Boys" push Stennis and the tower into the water. There is a close up shot of the tower's foot. It is about a quarter of an inch from falling off the dock. If it had been in that precarious of a position, then the man's movements and getting down and back up into the seat would have made the tower fall in before it was pushed.

Continuity mistake: When fighting the construction worker, Ernest's hat flies off. In the next shot the hat is suddenly back on his head.
Eddie (Chef #2): Jake's specialty du jour - eggs erroneous. It's made with powdered eggs and herbs and spices smuggled into this country by Tibetan monks.
Jake: Ernest, l want you to cut yourself a big knock out of these eggs erroneous.
Ernest P. Worrell: No, l-l can't eat on an empty stomach.
Jake: Why, of course you can. Eddie does, and look at that rosy glow to his teeth.
