Continuity mistake: In the final game, after halftime, Texas State goes for a fake punt. In one shot the ball is snapped to Jason Bateman who runs with it, and we see Mandylor begin running behind him. In the next shot, however, Bateman is still running, but Mandylor is going through the motions of a punt.

8.6/10. The only piece of entertainment I like that Scott Bakula, what a bore, is in. It's a fun watch to see him interact with Sinbad, Kathy Ireland among others. I'd call a fun watch especially when Kathy shows up. She and he really make the movie. Give it a try, you may not regret it.

Trivia: One of fictitious Texas State University's (TSU) opponents is Southwest Texas Bobcats (SWT), which was a real school. In 2003, SWT changed their name to Texas State University at San Marcos (they kept the Bobcat nickname). Eventually, when the other schools in the Texas State University System didn't change their names, "at San Marcos" was dropped and they are known just as Texas State University (TSU).
