Corrected entry: When Preston opens fire in the dark room at the resistance in the beginning of the movie, he has just two pistols. He does a continuous, non stop rate of fire with both guns very rapidly for about 17 to 18 seconds straight, never stopping to reload. Given the size of the pistols, there is no way he had that much ammo in the guns to keep shooting that rapidly for that long. (00:04:10)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Preston is returning to the building to get his Prozium resupplied, the car has on the rims as it drives up to the building. But when he is picked up by his partner and they are driving off, it's quite obvious that the car has on hub-caps instead of the original rims. (00:24:55)
Corrected entry: When Preston is confronted with the dog, the guard says to him "Unknown individuals are subject to summary destruction" but watch his mouth when he says the last bit. It doesn't match what he's saying. (00:49:55)
Corrected entry: During the second Preston/Mary interview, when the two are facing away from each other, the camera cuts between close-ups of the two. During Preston's close-ups, Mary's face is turned to the side. During her own, she is facing forward. (01:05:35)

Corrected entry: When Preston is beating up the soldiers with his studded pistol butts, he smashes the visors off a few of the helmets and you can see the soldiers are wearing protective goggles underneath.
Corrected entry: An interesting DVD peculiarity. Switch on the Subtitle feature and then watch the credit roll -- even the background music and the choral singing during the final credits are subtitled. The subtitle "Slow instrumental music plays" is followed by "Indistinct singing". (01:40:15)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Preston's wife is arrested, Preston attacks one of the policemen. When he breaks his arm, you can see that the man was holding an M4A1 Assault Rifle. After Preston broke his arm, he took the weapon away from the policeman. In the next shot Preston is holding a different weapon. (00:19:30)
Correction: Yes, he does take the m4a1 from the policeman, then uses that rifle to take the weapon from the other policeman. Which is why it's different. If you're not sure, watch it in slow-mo.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Preston shoots his partner for being a sense offender, pieces of the book fly into the air after he fires. However, when the book is dropped right after, it can easily be seen that there is no bullet hole in the book.
Correction: Yes, there is a bullet hole. It's in the front cover of the book, not the back cover.
Corrected entry: Preston shoots his first partner right in the face or chest to kill him. However, in the scene where he comes to see the body of his former partner there are no bullet holes visible.
Correction: Incorrect, toward the end of the scene the bullet wound can be seen in the body's throat. This can also be seen in Preston's dream/nightmare, right before the body is zipped up and incinerated.
Corrected entry: Another subtitles related problem. Whenever they show Sean Pertwee delivering a speech the subtitles list Angus Macfayden's character as the one speaking. While this later turns out to be the case I still think they could have done a slightly more discreet job.
Corrected entry: Preston supposedly switched his weapon with his partner's in the warehouse raid, but he had his gun in one hand and his partner's in the other and never faced away from his partner and never changed hands.
Correction: Brandt offers Preston his gun with his left hand. Preston accepts it with his right hand. After deliberating, Preston hands his own gun back to Brandt with his left hand. Brandt accepts it with his right hand. Brandt pretended not to notice for the benefit of the overall plan to trap Preston.
Corrected entry: In the scene in which Christian Bale fights several soldiers in bike-helmets with his studded pistol-butts, there is a close-up shot of the first soldier who's visor gets smashed. Immediately after that shot you can see that there are no studs on the pistol-butt. (00:56:30)
Correction: This has already been corrected. It is impossible to see this without using slow motion, and as such it is not a valid mistake.
Corrected entry: In the scene where Preston tells the men to shoot the hinges and lock, It shows guns being pointed at four hinges and 2 locks.
Corrected entry: It seems that every single person in this future society has to administer their dose of prozium at exactly the same time, however, in the scene in the car at the beginning of the movie, the clerics' watches beep but no one outside of the car stops to take their shots.
Correction: It SEEMS that they take them at the same time. We only see one shot of many people doing it. It's likely that people of different professions would need to take different doses at different times. The Clerics are fighting routinely and so would be far more biologically aroused than most of the population, which would mean they'd be taking either a different dosage (so they'd be on a different timetable) or the same dosage more often.
Corrected entry: When Preston is beating the guys up with the spikes coming out of the handle of his guns, when he breaks the first guy's glass visor you see the spikes are no longer there, but a few shots later, you see him retracting them back into the guns. I had to slow this down to really see it.
Correction: This is completely impossible to see without the use of slow-motion and therefore by the rules of this site the mistake is invalid.
Corrected entry: How is it that Cleric Preston is able to visit with the Father fully armed? The Father even knew that he would not be happy when he arrived so why was he allowed guns and ammunition? They took his sword as he entered but didn't bother with anything else. In the future one would think they would utilize metal detectors or a simple pat down process to protect the omni-present Father.
Correction: The DVD commentary clears this up somewhat - there was orginally a metal detector in the script, that was in the next room (after the interrogation)However the scene was cut, so it is never shown. This explains why they had seemingly let him in with his guns -they hadn't checked yet.
Corrected entry: The first gunfight at the warehouse. The guards gather in a bright corridor and blast the locks and hinges from a door that Preston slides into a darkened room upon. Here he waits in total darkness before blowing away all the sense offenders. If the door was blown off the room would have been flooded with light.
Correction: As Preston says to the guard whilst waiting outside the door, 'When the door's down, blow the bulbs'.The guards aim at the lights and when the door goes down we here them all shooting out the lights hence the darkness.
Corrected entry: Just after Preston kills Father you can see the cleric holding a gun in each hand. Two shots later he leaves the room with NO guns in his hands. You do not hear him drop the guns, but you CAN hear each of his steps.
Correction: Preston can probably retract the guns back into his arm holsters.
Corrected entry: When Preston and his partner are coming back from the Nether, he sees that his partner has a book with him. He asks "Why didn't you leave that for the evidence team?" The partner replies "I wanted to log it in myself, they miss these things sometimes." Later, he has a book and Tae Diggs asks him about it. He says the excact same thing. The problem is that it is not a strech to assume that the best cleric on the force would know that saying that will likely lead to his being outed as a sense offender.
Correction: Preston has to say something in response - he's been caught on the hop, doesn't have time to think, so resorts to repeating what Partridge said earlier. Anyway, it wasn't that phrase that caught Preston's attention earlier anyway - his suspicions were aroused by other statements by Partridge - he then investigated and found that Partridge had not turned the book in as he said he would. At the time, he accepted it as a reasonable answer - there's no reason to think that Brandt wouldn't accept it as well.
Correction: It's not the size of the gun that determines how many bullets it can fire between reloads, it's the length of the magazine. Besides, this scene isn't meant to be a continuous display of events. The angle changes from a wide shot showing Preston illuminated by the muzzle flash, to POV shots of the people Preston is shooting. These two angles are showing the same events twice, from two different perspectives, seeming to double the amount of time Preston spends firing rounds. Compare the number of bodies in this scene to the number of guards Preston kills later when they find the puppy in his trunk and how long it takes him to kill those guards; it didn't take Preston 17 to 18 seconds to kill the people in that room.
