Continuity mistake: Jason's mother is sitting on the front porch crying, telling Jason that Joshua stole some money from her job. Notice the pack of cigarettes and matches on the chair's arm, but when Jason goes to comfort her by sitting on the arm, the cigarettes are clearly gone. (00:26:13)
Continuity mistake: When Lyric and Jason make love down at the bayou and when Jason is seen sucking on her breast, you can see that Lyric has been replaced by a stand-in.
Continuity mistake: After Jason follows Lyric home and grabs the roses from his truck, they are first behind his back, then in the next shot, his arms are crossed and they are under his arm.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Marti and Lyric are talking in the bedroom, Lyric goes to hug Marti with her left arm up, but in the next shot it's missing.
Continuity mistake: In the scene towards the end of the movie where Josh and Jason are at a standoff, Jason is holding the gun straight in one shot, then sideways in the next and back again.
