Continuity mistake: While Nick and Harold are jogging and discussing the possible buy out of Harold's business they are completely surrounded by fog. For 18 seconds they discuss this further in close-up. When they return to wide shot the fog is completely cleared up around them and is only visible in the distance now. (00:38:35)
Trivia: In real life, "Big Chill" actor Tom Berenger got married on the lawn of the house in the film.
