Continuity mistake: During "Eyesight to the Blind," The Preacher's guitar changes from a red Les Paul to a black Stratocaster. It's not blatantly obvious, but easy enough to spot without slow-mo. (00:26:33 - 00:30:02)

Revealing mistake: When Tommy's parents die he puts their hands together. As the camera shows the close-up of their hands his mother's pinky finger twitches.

Continuity mistake: Just after Tommy sings under the waterfall (completely soaked) he climbs out the top and emerges completely dry.

Factual error: In the air raid scene at the beginning of the film, the burning car is a 1950s Ford Popular.

Continuity mistake: In the Acid Queen number, Tina Turner falls onto the bed and the syringe halls off the pillow. When we go to a close-up on her face, we hear her nails cicking and the camera pans over to the pillow with the syringe back on the pillow as she is clicking her nails to it. How did that syringe get back there?

Visible crew/equipment: During the junkyard scene (after Tommy bangs his head and before the shot where he is framed by the broken TV set) you can see the shadow of a camera on a disused oven.

Nora Walker Hobbs: What about the boy? What about the boy? What about the boy? He saw it all.
Frank Hobbs: He didn't see it, he didn't hear it, he will say nothing to no one.
