Continuity mistake: When Sonja, Falkon, and Tarn arrive at the lava river, it flows from left to right. A shot later, the lava flows in the opposite direction.
Deliberate mistake: When Kalidor beheads a warrior and when Sonja beheads the wizard, both heads don't fall sideways as they should, but instead fly upwards, revealing they were tossed by someone offscreen - which looks more impressive, indeed.
Continuity mistake: When we first see Sonja, she lies with her right arm fully extended along her body. From the back shot, it's not.
Other mistake: When Sonja is being raped, modern fillings are visible on her teeth.
