The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

New this week Trivia: According to the DVD commentary, director Stephen Elliot wanted the drag queens to scale Ayers Rock (Uluru) at the end. But the park owner refused, claiming that he thought the film sounded dumb (and probably because climbing Ayers Rock is generally dissuaded). Elliot wanted to beat him up badly but didn't. In the end, he settled for Kings Canyon for the finale.
