Factual error: When the hackers are trying to steal the photo from the woman's laptop, they turn up the TV to distract her. One of them clicks the smart TV icon and starts dragging the slider to increase the volume, which is all well and good, but we then cut to the hacker hammering the up key to increase the volume instead.

This sequel is an Accountant film without any accountancy, another forced sequel made not because there was a good story to tell, but purely because the producer wanted to capitalize on the title's success with a sequel. (In February 2020, Affleck confirmed that the studio had considered retroactively turning a separate script into The Accountant 2.) The story seems to have changed mid-production, but the editing process didn't do a good job of it. The three factions and their stakes aren't well-defined. Clearly, the flick has been made for certain Americans with certain mindsets about immigration. Still, why must rogue accountants and treasury agents concern themselves with it? Raymond King had no reason to pursue this particular case post-retirement. He had even less reasons to write, "Find the accountant." Marybeth Medina had no reason to honor his wish, since she was Raymond King's victim of blackmail from the first movie. The accountant had no reasons to participate in whatever Raymond King intended.
Question: Is it just me, or does Christian have a slight speech impediment in this film (such as when he asks Braxton to stop copying what he is saying) compared to the first one, where Ben Affleck was just using his regular voice?
Answer: I also thought the same, but looking at it again, he's a loner; he barely speaks to anyone, and he has a short fuse but tries so hard to control that side of him. Considering how long ago the first part was released and how it ended, they tried to show that this has been his life all of those years - living alone, barely interacting with anyone and just doing his thing. And the older he grew, the fewer words he had to say.

Answer: I noticed that too. The first film did not have that speech pattern. Almost like someone told him autistic people have a different speech pattern, which is false. It bothered me so much.
