Continuity mistake: In the scene where Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves are on top of the office building, they walk to the right edge of the roof. When the camera changes from overview to close-up, they only need one or two steps to the edge, but they make at least six steps. (00:25:40)
The Devil's Advocate (1997)
Ending / spoiler
Directed by: Taylor Hackford
Starring: Keanu Reeves, Charlize Theron, Al Pacino, Jeffrey Jones, Craig T. Nelson
Al Pacino is Satan and Keanu Reeves is in fact one of Satan's many sons. Pacino reveals to Reeves that he needs Reeves to father the anti-christ. Reeve's wife committs suicide after she is raped by Pacino. Reeves voluntarily commits suicide at the end, greatly despairing his unholy father, but gets brought back to life at the decision he made near the beginning, giving him (but also Satan) a second chance.

John Milton: So... have we been treating you well?
Kevin Lomax: Very well, thank you.
John Milton: And your wife? She had a good time?
Kevin Lomax: She sure has, it's been great. The whole thing's been great.
John Milton: That's our secret. Kill you with kindness.
Trivia: The scene inside the gilded apartment of real estate mogul Alexander Cullen, accused of the triple murder, was shot inside the actual Fifth Avenue apartment of real life real estate mogul Donald Trump. (From DVD director's commentary). (01:04:00)

Answer: Yes. Kevin realises this when he finds out the secretary is lying about sleeping with her boss. He even considers dropping the case, knowing he was defending a murderer.
