Continuity mistake: It wasn't snowing in the front of the house (e.g, when Ethan, Hallie, and Stephanie were going home; when the ambulance arrived; when anyone came in the front door), but it was snowing heavily in the rear of the house during scenes showing the Christmas tree. Trivia: In "All I Want for Christmas" (1991), Hallie [Thora Birch] told her dad that Pluto is her "favorite planet." Pluto was reclassified or re-defined as a "dwarf planet" (now one of five) by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) in 2006. Many people were - and still are - unhappy about the "demotion" of what used to be the ninth planet and previously known as the smallest planet.
