Continuity mistake: After Chef gives his little spiel about tea, he asks if anyone has any questions about the restaurant. In the first shot, he begins to raise his left hand to help hold his teacup, but when it cuts to the next shot, his left hand is hanging by his side. (Yes, he's offscreen for about ½ second, but not enough time to instantly lower his arm like that.)
Continuity mistake: When the one "business bro" fails to break the window, Elsa leads him back to his seat. He goes from walking to sitting instantly between cuts in the background.
Continuity mistake: When the one "business bro" tries to break the window, after the first strike, he lowers the chair and it's nearly at the ground. It then cuts to the opposite angle and he's suddenly holding it much higher at head level.
Continuity mistake: After Margot and Chef talk in the kitchen area and Margot slaps Tyler, as Tyler complains about how she was smoking and can't taste the food, her hand goes from down on the table to up in front of her mouth between cuts.
Continuity mistake: When Margot is told Chef wants to see her in the kitchen after Richard's finger is cut off, the way she's gripping the chair changes slightly between cuts.
Continuity mistake: As Elsa is walking around telling everyone to remain seated after Richard's finger is cut off, Felicity begins to sit back down, but the camera cuts, and she's already fully seated and still.
Continuity mistake: When Richard is on the floor after his finger is cut off, as Elsa is telling everyone else to remain seated, his wife goes from looking down at Richard to looking up at Elsa between cuts at one point.
Continuity mistake: When Richard's finger is cut off, his wife goes from sitting to standing in one of the quick cutaway shots, then is sitting again the next time we see her. (It happens very quickly but is noticeable.)
Continuity mistake: When Elsa orders Richard's finger cut off, as he tries to flee, his wife's hand goes from up by her mouth to down at her front between cuts. (It happens very quickly.)
Continuity mistake: During the fourth course, as the waiter is pouring wine, Margot's arm appears on the back of her chair between cuts when she turns to look at him.
Continuity mistake: After Jeremy shoots himself and Chef orders everyone to "eat," Margot turns to look at Tyler and asks him what's going on. Her mouth goes from open in shock to completely closed between cuts.
Audio problem: When Chef is talking about the fourth dish and his co-chef who created it, there's a long shot that sweeps over the restaurant patrons as Chef explains it. You can tell from Chef's facial movements that the dialogue was dubbed over in post; it doesn't match his mouth/chin movements in the slightest.
Continuity mistake: At the start of the fourth course, the "business bros" ask Chef what's going on, and he asks them to finish what he's saying first. As this happens, the Asian-American man goes from facing Chef to facing his friends between cuts.
Continuity mistake: When the older woman finds a photo of her husband with another woman on her tortilla, his hands go from apart to clasped together between cuts.
Continuity mistake: When the movie star laughs about his tortillas having his movie poster engraved on them, his right hand goes from on the table to about 6" above the table, gesturing between cuts.
Continuity mistake: When the older couple notes that the tortillas all have photographs of them, the wife is initially holding the "happy anniversary" tortilla in her right hand. There's an edit, and it vanishes, and she's suddenly holding one of the other tortillas with both hands.
Continuity mistake: When the food critic's assistant opens up their tortillas, he goes from holding the container with one hand to both hands between cuts. Then, a tortilla appears in his own hand in the next cut, despite him only just starting to grab one at the end of the previous shot.
Continuity mistake: When Chef is explaining how the images on the tortillas were laser-engraved, Tyler's face changes expression when it cuts from the wide shot to the medium shot. Most noticeably, his mouth goes from closed to open.
Continuity mistake: When Chef recounts the story of stabbing his father in the leg, he bends down and asks his mother if she remembers. His head then goes from pointed down to pointed forward between cuts.
Continuity mistake: At the start of the third course, as the movie star and his assistant are debating her leaving, pay attention to his water glass. There's very little continuity between shots. It appears and disappears several times depending on the angle; at one point, he picks it up only for his hand to be empty in the next shot, etc.
