Continuity mistake: When Margot pulls the cheeseburger out of the to-go bag as she watches the restaurant burn, the bite taken out of it is significantly bigger than the small nibble she took off it at the restaurant a few minutes earlier.

Continuity mistake: After Margot leaves, as the business bros toss their credit cards on the table, you can see the movie star sitting still behind them. In the next shot, he's suddenly digging for his wallet.

Continuity mistake: When the "coast guard" agent opens the note from the movie star, in the first shot, the note is fairly creased and crumpled up. But in the close-up, it's totally clean with just a single crease.

Audio problem: When the boat is arriving, one of the chefs begins to wipe off the business bro's bloody nose. He says, "What? What are you doing?! Ugh!" His lip movements don't match the dialogue one bit.

Continuity mistake: When Margot is looking at the photos in Chef's secret office, she is casting a shadow on the wall. When it switches to her "POV," her shadow is gone.

TedStixon

Continuity mistake: When Margot goes into Chef's secret room in his house, the door is wide open. It then cuts to another shot. Two seconds later, it cuts back, and the door is shut, and Margot is standing a few feet in front of it. There's not enough time for her to have shut the door and started to walk forward in the two seconds she was offscreen.

Continuity mistake: This is hard to describe. When Margot stabs Elsa, in the shot of Margot scrambling back screaming at what she's done, it looks as though the knife is sticking out from behind the side of Elsa's head. It then cuts and the knife is right in the middle of her neck/throat. Best I can figure is that in the first shot, the knife was plunged into something next to the actress's head to simulate her being stabbed, and then in the next shot, she has a prosthetic knife attached to her neck.

Continuity mistake: When Margot kills Elsa, as Margot stabs her, Elsa's head is pointed almost straight up. But in the next shot, it's turned about 45 degrees to the side.

Continuity mistake: When Chef brings Tyler back to the kitchen, as he addresses the crowd and tells them Tyler is going to demonstrate, Tyler goes from fumbling with his hands to having them down at his sides between cuts.

TedStixon

Continuity mistake: When Margot attacks Tyler after finding out he knew she'd die, Margot is pulled away. From behind, we see Tyler turn his head from Chef towards the floor. The camera cuts, and he does it a second time.

TedStixon

Continuity mistake: After the men return to the restaurant, Chef confronts Tyler and asks why he's there. As Tyler explains he wanted to experience the food, Margot's hands go from about a foot apart to right next to each other on the table between cuts.

TedStixon

Continuity mistake: After all the men are caught, Margot hands a small handbag to Anne. In the first shot, Margot's hand is still on the bag. It then cuts to the opposite angle, and suddenly her hand is down by her side.

TedStixon

Continuity mistake: When Katherine is having dinner with the female guests while the male guests try to escape, at one point Anne finishes off her glass of wine after she has a tense moment with Margot. But in the very next shot, her glass is suddenly about ΒΌ full again.

Continuity mistake: The blood smear on Chef's jacket changes after he pulls the scissors from his leg. Initially, it's a single large, blobby smear, but later it looks more like a normal handprint smear with extended fingers.

TedStixon

Continuity mistake: When the group goes outside, you can see the movie star is still walking up to the ground from behind. We then cut to the "business bros" talking, and the movie star is suddenly already with the group and standing still.

TedStixon

Continuity mistake: When Chef begins to usher everyone outside, the way Lillian and Ted are sitting changes between cuts. Most noticeably, Ted's hands go from on to off the table between cuts.

TedStixon

Continuity mistake: As Doug Verrick is being lowered to his death, Felicity goes from having one hand to both hands by her mouth between cuts.

TedStixon

Continuity mistake: When the business bros try to bargain to release their boss after he's revealed hanging outside, pay attention to Felicity. At one point, her hand goes from covering her mouth to balled up near her mouth between cuts.

TedStixon

Continuity mistake: When Chef is monologuing about why he's doing what he's doing, Elsa puts the timer down in front of Margot and reminds her she has ten minutes to make her decision. Margot has her hands by her neck. Her fingers go from extended to balled up, then back to extended between cuts.

Trivia: The production actually hired several professional chefs to collaborate during pre-production. Additionally, the second unit director was hired because he previously worked on the Netflix documentary series "Chef's Table," and they wanted some of the shots to resemble shots from television cooking shows.

Question: During the fight scene between Margot and Elsa, there's a moment where Margot rolls over a counter and falls to the floor. The shot where she lands on the floor looks very unnatural, as though Margot was green-screened into it. She doesn't seem to blend into the background properly, but also casts an accurate reflection on the metal beside her. Did they paint out a crash mat she landed on or something?
