Continuity mistake: When Tuba 'possessed' by Rambo sprints towards the bad guy for the final clash, the items on the desk in the room with the money change placement between shots (look at the green jar, for instance, or when Tuba gets knocked down again and jumps over the desk, which at that point has on it just a book that turns and shifts in the reverse shot). Continuity mistake: In the battle against the opponent armed with a hook, Cheung tries to jump on him when he's on the ground, but the guy sends him back with both feet into a bunch of fruit boxes. Cheung knocks most of them down, but in the POV shot of the villain when he looks for him, a few boxes are back where they were. (01:23:15)
Continuity mistake: During 'part 2' of his fight, Cheung gets grabbed by his opponent by the jacket; he holds him in a different spot between shots. (01:22:40)
Continuity mistake: When Tuba musters some courage and rushes to help Cheung, he tackles the villain in two completely different trajectories in the two shots. (01:20:25)
Continuity mistake: A fight ensues inside the market; Tuba watches the two baddies ganging up on Cheung and kicking him through a stack of baskets and some boxes of fruits. Cheung in the first shot is crashing on a box of apples which becomes a box of oranges in the next one. It does not add up. (01:20:20)
Continuity mistake: When the gang member puts the citrus on top of the money, the box he uses as a lid has an orange band on it, and it's on the left half. When the boss grabs the box, the orange line is on the other half. When he bumps into Tuba, he's carrying a different box without the orange band. (01:19:25)
Continuity mistake: At the food market, the henchman brings the suitcase to his accomplice, who touches the suitcase towards the corner. In the reverse shot, his hand is in a different position more towards the center. (01:18:55)
Continuity mistake: The combative henchman who had the shootout with Cheung throws the suitcase on the speedboat and then throws himself on it; in the first shot he jumps facing the ship and holding to it with his left arm, in the reverse shot he's facing the other way and using his right arm. (01:18:00)
Continuity mistake: During the dinner shenanigans, the mischievous ghost grabs Tuba's hand and forces him to do bad things with the cake. In the close-up when he picks the cake up though, there are not just Tuba and Rambo's hand, but a third hand too. (01:09:15)
Continuity mistake: When Joanne's father sits down with Tuba, in the closer shots his tie creases very in the middle, but wasn't that way in the wide angle. (01:04:35)
Continuity mistake: In the montage of the dates, when Cheung handcuffs Joanne and Tuba they are standing at the railing in a different spot between shots. (00:54:10)
Continuity mistake: When somehow Tuba manages to ask Joanne out, he at first tries to come up with excuses and talks to himself. She overhears him and folds her arms; the way the arms cross changed after it cuts away for a second. Even more noticeably, throughout the conversation she holds the clipboard with a sheet that goes across or does not, depending on the camera angle. (00:51:40)
Continuity mistake: Tuba and Cheung's partner and bait tells them that they have to arrest anyone who dares to come close to her. During the scene you can see the name tag is heavily tilted under one camera angle, totally straight in the reverse. (00:46:05)
Continuity mistake: Standing up, Cheung bumps the rather oddly light desk, and his commander gets his nasal stick up the nostril. Brief cut to Cheung, and the coffee cup which was standing straight earlier toppled with a delayed reaction. (00:44:25)
Continuity mistake: When Tuba bellyflops the crazy guy into submission, Cheung is facing opposite directions in the two separate shots. (00:43:05)
Continuity mistake: Tuba beats up the unarmed crazy guy. Meanwhile, the one with the cleaver pins Cheung down and threatens to chop him. In the shots with the camera to Cheung's left, the broken vase is gone from the hood of the car, and is still there in the others. (00:42:45)
Continuity mistake: Tuba receives a call for the disturbance at the asylum. Cheung runs to the crime scene first. There are two girls to his left that point at the scene; in the opening shot they run off instantly, in fact facing away from it, but in the front view they are still there pointing - both times Cheung goes past them. (00:41:10)
Continuity mistake: Rambo disposed of the underlings, but a stronger opponent shows up. He sends Rambo reeling back against some drums, and raises his leg. In the next shot, his heel kick hits the drum, but A) the drum is not the same B) the distance is wrong, and judging by the first shot he would have dropped the heel on Rambo with no problems. (00:32:00)
Continuity mistake: When Rambo and Cheung sit down to begin explaining Tuba the situation, the lid on the instant noodles cup closes slightly on the second shot. (00:22:10)
Continuity mistake: In her first scene at the store, Joanne wears a sweater tied on her front. When she looks at Tuba picking cereals, it is tied in a different way compared to the rest of the scene (the sleeves are evenly matched, while elsewhere one is very short). (00:18:25)
