Continuity mistake: After Chris is dead, and his wife is writing in her diary, and she writes "I still exist" as she's writing it, exist is written "EXST", then when she looks to read what she wrote it reads "EXT". The writing's different too. (00:22:10)

Continuity mistake: When Chris first arrives in his heaven he squeezes a blue flower and blue paint oozes within his fist, between his fingers and some gets to the back of his hand. Additionally, there is a mark of blue paint on his nose and some green paint on the back of his coat. Some of the paint from his hands transfers to his dog, Katie, when he pets her, then he jumps up and runs to the edge of the hill where he spreads his arms out from his sides in joy and laughs. We see green paint remains on his coat, but his hands and nose are now clean. (00:27:10)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Chris takes the temperature of a sick Marie, in the very first shot look closely at Marie's forehead. In the next shot and throughout the remainder of the scene, sweat covers her entire forehead. Many of the beads are large and are absolutely missing in the first shot. (00:42:00)

Visible crew/equipment: Early in the movie when Robin Williams drives towards the tunnel where the accident happens, you can clearly see the shadow of the camera crane on the left side.

Continuity mistake: When Robin Williams and Anabella Sciorra are getting married, they are walking down the aisle and she trips. There is a close up a little before and a little after and it is obvious that her veil is different. Before she trips there is a fold in the veil and in the next shot it is nice and smooth.

Continuity mistake: Chris is telling Annie that he spoke to Cindy on the phone. Right after he says she's a soul-less bitch Annie wipes her nose with her left hand(notice her ring), then from the other angle she is using her right hand to wipe her nose.

Continuity mistake: When Christy first dies, he makes a bird fly, then the bird poops on the top of his head. In the next shot, the poop is gone from the top of his head and now it's on the side of his face.

Chris Nielsen: That's when I realised I'm part of the problem. Not because I remind you. But because I couldn't join you. So I left you alone. Don't give up, okay?

Trivia: "What dreams may come" is from the Shakespeare play Hamlet. It is in his "To Be or Not To Be" soliloquy: "For in that sleep of death what dreams may come/When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,/Must give us pause: there's the respect/That makes calamity of so long life."

Question: Does the color blue have any symbolic significance in this film? I've noticed that blue flowers are pretty prominent throughout the film as well as Annie's blue dress and Chris' blue suit in the last few scenes. It seems like the cinematographers took special care to make all the blues really stand out.
