Audio problem: The one-eyed warrior who drags the prince inside the inn says "Look who I found skulking outside", but his mouth does not open. (00:21:40)

Continuity mistake: When the King puts the seal in his son's hands, a longer dangling chain appears in the second shot. (00:11:20)

Sammo

Continuity mistake: When the monk hands to the King the seal, he's holding it in different ways between shots (his right index is on the front of the seal in close-up, together with the middle in the next). (00:11:05)

Other mistake: The protagonist (along with other warriors at the beginning of the movie) sports a mohawk-like style with perfectly buzz-cut sides, and he keeps this impeccable, modern day 'do even when he ends up being a crack addict in China.

Sammo

Other mistake: It is stated by the caption ("The far East; 3 years later") that the events of most of the movie take place 3 years after the prologue. Thus, both Nicolas Cage and Hayden Christensen have made it to China and learned flawless Chinese (there's no language barrier whatsoever and they understand each other perfectly at all times) in less time than that, while being on crack and on other considerable hardships, too.

Sammo

Other mistake: In some international versions (German, Italian) the movie is titled "The Last Templar", which does not fit at all the proposed 12th century timeframe.

Sammo

Other mistake: Prince Shing and the King have a conversation that lasts not less than 5 minutes of movie (which compresses the time somewhat; groups of people get in and out of the large hall, which wouldn't be instantaneous and happens at least 3 times). The conversation happens while the other members of the royal family are running away through a secret passage. With such a considerable head start and wasting no time (they keep moving even when they put mantles on), they are reached by heavily-armored guards, through the same secret passage, within seconds. (00:12:10 - 00:17:10)

Sammo

Jacob: Men cannot know God's will, and when they pretend to, it ends in blood.
