Lean on Pete

Continuity mistake: At the restaurant, different camera views show the levels of ketchup in the bottle are not properly coordinated after Del or Charley squeeze some out. The ketchup from inside the bottle has settled when the camera faces Charley but not when facing Del. Because they are "out of sync" depending on the camera's direction, the bottle may look fuller after some is squeezed out. (00:24:31 - 00:25:09)

Continuity mistake: During Charley's morning jog, his "Forest Creek High School" T-shirt does not consistently have the blue line (below the letter "t" in "Forest") connecting the ram's horns or same boldness in color. His T-shirt collar is also ragged on the left side and back once he gets inside the house. (00:03:12 - 00:04:11)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of his jog, Charley picked up the cardboard that had fallen out of the recycle bin; the bin's side was positioned parallel to the driveway. When Charley returned from jogging, the recycle bin was closer to the house and turned about 90° (the side now facing the house). It was early morning and Charley was not gone very long, so the recycle bin should have been in the same position. (00:02:26 - 00:03:55)

Continuity mistake: In the opening inside scene, Charley is by the front door, wearing baggy oversized gray jogging shorts. The side pocket slits are partially open, the legs are wide enough to fit three or four of Charley's legs, and the excess material around the waist is bunched. When the camera shows Charley coming out the door, his jogging shorts are slimmer/ more form-fitting and look more navy (or a darker gray) than gray. During his jogging, his shorts turn baggier for a while, then return to a slim fit. (00:02:05)

Continuity mistake: The amount of "sweat" on Charley's T-shirt varies before/after his entrance into his house. While jogging, there is no visible sweat on his T-shirt, but there is sweat around the collar of his T-shirt when approaching the front door to his house. Once inside, Charley makes a "360" (turns completely around) at the door and his T-shirt is now wetter - around the neck and part-way down to his chest (V-shaped); his back also has a vertical oval-shaped area of wetness. As Charley approaches the refrigerator, the wetness on his back quickly disappears (the dark gray area becomes light gray like his T-shirt) and it looks obvious that it was being blow-dried (air was circulating underneath his T-shirt). Next, Charley walks to the sink, and there's a vertical line of "sweat" on his back and the wetness under his arms "grows" and becomes obvious. Real sweat makes a shirt cling to one's body, but this was not true for Charley's T-shirt. (00:03:12 - 00:04:04)

Continuity mistake: The car that hit Pete did not veer off the road, but the car's headlights were shining toward waist-high weeds (as well as past the repositioned Pete). When Charlie ran up to Pete from above his head, he was not obstructed by any weeds, which would have been impossible based on where the car's lights were shining. (01:29:00)

Continuity mistake: "Lean on Pete" and the car were obviously repositioned after the accident. The car hit Pete on his left side/legs, Pete's back landed on the hood, and Pete continued to roll over the roof and fell on the opposite side. It took a few cars lengths' distance for the car to come to a complete stop. Next, Pete was suddenly in front of the car, lying on his left side, and facing the direction he was running before the impact. (01:28:51)

Continuity mistake: Charley put the money he got paid for painting into the right front pocket of his pants, but he took it out of his left pocket when he was moving it into his sock/boot to hide from Silver in his trailer. (01:41:59 - 01:42:53)
