Continuity mistake: Time to sit up from the Conflict Couch; Daphne in the close-up lying down has all her hair off the shoulders, but coming up she starts off with a lock of hair along her neck and in front of the right part of her body. (00:27:35)
Continuity mistake: Aunt Piper comes back into her office when the conflict has been resolved; Arden Myrin holds the blue ball bot with her hands positioned differently between shots (for instance, when she mentions "Cheyenne, Wyoming" her left hand that she just positioned below the ball in the previous shot, is at the side of it. Continuity mistake: The scene with Daphne and Velma trying to talk some sense into Carol about the Spencer issue begins with Daphne close to the gap between two tables (look at the shot that precedes the moment when Velma clears her throat), and seemingly no space for anyone to join on Carol's left. When Mikayla joins she finds a lot of space though, and no wonder; from a wider angle it's obvious that now it's an entirely different table. (00:29:20)
Continuity mistake: In the cafeteria, Carol is telling the two protagonists about Griffin Griffiths and his brothers and sisters. The hair of Mikayla next to her jumps in front of her shoulder between shots. (00:30:15)
Continuity mistake: Spencer's clips in the "Getting my fruit" show him with the strap on the opposite shoulder from the photo and his actual self at the table. (00:30:40)
Continuity mistake: Once Velma has checked out Spencer's lunch antics on her green portable device, between shots it keeps switching from having the screen part sticking out or being tucked in with the rest. (00:31:00)
Continuity mistake: Velma reluctantly agrees to Daphne's idea to check out of the mysterious locker. She says "We'll come up with something." Right part of the frame, and in the background there's an extra (black kid with a plaid white shirt) that is simultaneously also eating at the table in the reverse shot. (00:31:15)
Continuity mistake: Daphne is talking with mom and dad after the second day of school. At least two takes of the scene have been filmed, because the ice pack on Mr. Blake's knee is tilted in two different ways on his knee, and they keep being mixed together in the final edit. (00:31:40)
Continuity mistake: Just before introducing Tobias Bloom, the principal has blue earbuds in her hands. She is holding them as she begins to gesture towards the stage entrance, but they have vanished with pure sleight of hand (or rather, editing) in the following shot. (00:33:10)
Other mistake: It is revealed - well, spoiler! - that the one of the characters is a hologram. The problem with that is, the immaterial hologram (he is presented as such), has had a few interactions with objects. In the scene at school the principal did not touch him, making it plausible, but then he ate a piece of pizza, which should have been holo-pizza. Assuming it is possible (it's all his own tech after all) in the very final scene he has more. One could say that the chair he initially sat on turned on its own and so it is automated, but he actively flips a switch on his desk, and he sits on a different office chair, making it also wobble under his weight. It should be noted that Daphne spots the fact that he is a hologram by pointing to the projector for it, but there was never any light beam like that before (would have been super-obvious in the theater scene earlier) and Bloom always cast normal shadows. Plot hole: During the presentation of Bloom Innovative's pizza printer, the villain who pulls the strings of the whole operation (and controls Bloom) is in the audience. Since Bloom at the end of the movie is not depicted as a sophisticated AI but just a holographic projection, it appears impossible that he could do his stage performance and interact (verbally at least) with principal and audience. Continuity mistake: Velma places the robot engine below the locker's lock. In close-up the wires at the top of the mechanism stick out in a curve ending up on the same level of the lock's bottom, but in wider shots that follow they are instead folded down. Of course it's just a minute detail when you consider that in other shots the engine is instead at the SIDE of the lock. (00:35:30)
Continuity mistake: It's no wonder that the two protagonists were caught red handed in front of the locker when they broke into it the first time; it was 10 past noon when they began, it's 20 past when they are done (of course it can't be this long, it's a continuity error). (00:36:15 - 00:37:20)
Continuity mistake: In front of the locker she broke into with Daphne, Velma holds Olivia's blue ribbon in her left hand. She turns towards the locker and is surprised by Two-Mop Maggie. She is not holding the ribbon in her hand anymore, and her right hand is covered by an oven mitt. (00:37:15)
Continuity mistake: In the principal's office after melting the locker, Daphne and Velma are being scolded. Miss Piper's glasses rest on the desk in a different way depending on the angle (in the frontal shots the right side is more elevated). (00:37:45)
Continuity mistake: In close-up, Velma's "shame sticker" does not reach the topmost seam of her overalls' front. In the view with both her and Daphne, the sticker is high enough to reach there. (00:38:00)
Continuity mistake: During the chat with the two accidental lunch ladies, the strap of Griffin Griffith's bag keeps switching between in front or behind the top button of his jacket. (00:38:10)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the scene with the two girls on lunchlady duty, Griffin's friend Mike is juggling a football, followed by another friend with the same black letterman jacket. However, after the cut we find in that spot Griffin himself, in red, instead. One could say that maybe the ball juggler is not Mike but another guy with a crew cut, he's not wearing a bag, after all. Which brings to the subject of the other continuity mistake there; when Velma replies "You're only on top of the Bloom bracket because...", Mike is not wearing the bag that he was wearing in the other views. Continuity mistake: When Velma serves the goopy yellowness to the three Slitherin knockoffs, many continuity issues arise; the quantity of material is different in the close-up, and later varies again. Also, Mike takes his portion, but there's one in front of him right at the cut. Actually, he took Griffin's portion, but Griffin has one right in front of himself again, appeared between shots. On top of all that, the same extra (nerdy glasses and light grey sweater) walks behind the trio starting when Griffin calls himself 'new leader' and resuming several seconds later ("You mean because he tanked"), still at the same exact spot as before. Continuity mistake: Griffin is introduced as a suspect, and is shown high fiving the other guys from his cohort. In the part that follows, the paper bowl on the cafeteria counter keeps switching left and right of the opening. (00:39:25)
