Sonic the Hedgehog

Corrected entry: Sonic uses the word "southpaw" during the baseball scene. The word "southpaw" means that you're left-handed. However, in the bar scene, he is shown writing his bucket list with his right hand.

Correction: Sonic was pretending to be different players, some were right handed and some left handed. He's batting right handed, but on the mound he is in fact pitching left handed. When he's being the "space case" in left, he's also shown to be left handed (glove on the right hand). When he throws the ball home, he throws right handed.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: During the bar fight notice two women, a blonde and a brunette, they're ready to use beer bottles with the blonde's back to the audience. Then, once Sonic has tied everyone's legs together, they've suddenly switched places.

Rob245

Correction: Background is different in these two shots, so they didn't switch places but merely were shot from the opposite angles.

Corrected entry: Maybe it's the lighting on the Mushroom World but Dr Robotnik's mustache looks red when prior to that it was brown.

Rob245

Correction: This may have been intentional. In the final scene on the Mushroom Planet, Robotnik looks closer to his video game counterpart; he shaves his head and his mustache is much longer.

This is probably done to make way for Eggman in the second movie (which is in talks).

Continuity mistake: During the chase scene with Robotnik's robotic vehicle, at one point an EMP device is launched which misses Tom and Sonic's pickup truck and instead latches onto a minivan in front of it. Except just a few shots prior, there was a wideshot of the road, and you can see that Tom's pickup truck and the robotic vehicle were the only cars on the road. The minivan just sort-of... appears.

Trivia: The town in the movie is called "Green Hills." This is a reference to "Green Hill Zone," which was the name of the first level in the very first "Sonic" video-game. Additionally, a piano rendition of the "Green Hill Zone" music is played towards the end of the film. (00:03:55)

Question: This is a two part question: firstly if Crazy Carl was onto Sonic why didn't he find any of Sonic's quills when Tom found one without even looking for one? Secondly: what happened to the ring that Sonic threw and bounced of the robot, did he get it back, or will it play a part in getting Robotnick back in the possible sequel?

Darth Crucible

Answer: First, it seems Sonic doesn't shed his quills that easily. Tom found one just by sheer luck. Second, yes that ring is likely going to play a part in the sequel.
